Packaging tradeshow in Nuremberg, Germany from June 3-5, 2008 (Hall 9, Booth 605K).
The company will present its complete range of electronic manufacturing services
(EMS). This includes hardware and software development, assembly of electronic
modules using all of the common technologies, final assembly of complete devices and
systems, international delivery of products and sales support. SMT Hybrid Packaging
is Europe's leading tradeshow in the area of system integration in micro
electronics. More than 600 electronics companies from Germany and across the globe
will present products and services in an exhibition hall covering more than 25,000
square meters.

Everything from a single source
"We stand out by offering everything that is needed from a single source", said
Manfred Verkühlen, director of sales, logistics and project management at Vierling
Production. "Customers can come to us with a raw product idea, and we handle
everything from development, prototyping and prototype production through a complete
range of module and device production services with the capacity to produce up to
100,000 units per year." Vierling offers surface mount technology (SMT) as well as
through-hole technology (THT). Lead-free as well as lead solder is available using
vapor phase, wave and selective soldering equipment. Finally assembly is also
available and is handled by specialized employees trained primarily by Vierling.
This is followed by comprehensive testing by Vierling\'s test department with systems
for automatic optical inspection (AOI), boundary scan and in-circuit and flying
probe tests. Vierling Production also offers logistics, material management,
shipping and sales support.

Project managers at the show
Project managers from Vierling Production will be present each day at SMT Hybrid
Packaging to provide practical consultation to prospects from all industries. Sample
projects to be presented by Vierling Production include the world's most powerful
digital aerial camera made by the company Intergraph, a control console for stage
technology by the company Waagner-Biro and a piping inspection system by the company
iPEK. "Our project managers will be there at the tradeshow to provide personal
consultation and present EMS projects from a wide variety of areas", added Mr.
Verkühlen. "Vierling assigns a fixed project manager to each customer who works to
make sure that projects are a total success while ensuring flexibility and fast
response times. This is how we are able to meet such complex needs in a wide range
of industries."

EMS gains importance
Electronic manufacturing services (EMS) have become increasingly important to
Vierling in recent years. The company has its origin in the telecommunications
industry, but its production lines now receive 80% of their orders from external
customers. Today, EMS represents the strongest business area within the Vierling
Group. "Our customers are well aware that we have more than 65 years of experience
in the electronics industry and that we manufacture our own very challenging
products using the very same production facilities", noted Wolfgang Peter, managing
director of Vierling Production. "In recent times, we have worked primarily with
companies specializing in medical technology, automation, automotive industry,
